The John Howard Society of Newfoundland and Labrador supports individuals involved in the justice system, including clients and their families, through a range of community-based programs. Volunteers may assist in residential centres by helping maintain a safe and supportive environment for residents. There are also opportunities to support prison programs such as visitation or library services, helping improve quality of life for inmates. Volunteers can also contribute at a governance level through board involvement. This work supports rehabilitation, reintegration, and community safety.
